Healthcare gardens and care homes, school playgrounds, outdoor learning and natural play spaces, city parks and pocket parks, social housing and community gardens, rehab gardens and roof gardens, healthy urban planning - accessible green space to uplift and sustain you, the look good, feel great factor - that is what Greenstone Design is about.
As public health-trained landscape architects and urban designers we work to make a difference. Our mission is to design spaces - whether a break out space for the office, new entrance-way for your vineyard, a school playground or retirement village gardens - to look good and feel great. Our designs offer wow factor and health and well-being, for the same budget as 'standard' design. Performance surveys show staff who have access to appropriate greenspace at work perform better and are more loyal. Studies of playgrounds show a reduction in bullying once natural play balances equipment and hard sports areas. In hospitals, a view of healing gardens can reduce medication needs and healing time.
We work remotely and on site. This means that if it is not practical for us to come to you, we can work with you via email, phone and Zoom / Teams. You then simply provide photos and site measurements and we do the rest. Please contact us for further details and a no-obligation design consultation.
